Insurance Policies
Here at Thomasville Regional Medical Center (TRMC), we strive to give our patients the highest quality of care and the best possible healthcare experience. Medical costs can be confusing and very overwhelming. To make this process as transparent as possible TRMC has made all of our current charges available for your benefit.
The charge master list includes only the hospital charges. It does not include any charges billed separately by your physician or other professional fees. The actual amount paid by the patient will depend on the patient’s insurance coverage.
Medicare
Medicaid
- Not everyone has the same type of Medicare coverage as each plan fits each patients’ needs. Medicare will cover some of the cost but will not cover the entire amount
- There are special rules that will apply to you if you have employer group health insurance through your job or spouse’s job
- The best way to be sure of what your Medicare plan covers call 1-800-MEDICARE or visit their website at www.myMedicare.gov
- Typically, Medicaid recipients are not responsible for any portion of the hospital bill.
