By the order of the Governor of Alabama and the state Health Officer, each patient of this facility enjoys certain rights to have as many as two caregivers or as many as two visitors present at a time, subject to reasonable restrictions. 


COVID-19 patient rooms will not be permitted visitors or caregivers.


As for the Emergency Department, it will be based upon the Doctor/Nurse’s discretion.



Clinics and Outpatient Areas

Patients are allowed to bring two (2) visitors/caregivers with them for clinic or outpatient appointments. The visitor must arrive with the patient at the time of registration and remain with the patient throughout the appointment.




  • Visitors must be 18 years of age or older, except in special circumstances.
  • Visitors must undergo temperature and symptom screening upon arrival, perform hand hygiene and, wear a mask (cloth or surgical) at all times. We ask that you bring your own face mask. If you do not have a face covering, we will provide one. Please be especially attentive to wearing your mask properly over your nose and mouth.
  • Visitors must remain at the patient’s bedside throughout the visit unless directed by the clinical team.
  • If a visitor does not pass the screening process or does not follow health system protocols, they will not be allowed entrance into the facility.
